To me, the most universally flattering silhouette is one of all black. Yet, black on black on black can become tedious over time, so adding pops of color or white to break up the monotony can be a welcome diversion. This track pant by Moncler is a perfect example of how to do that. The white stripe and name printed on the waistband add a touch of elegance to an otherwise basic black pant. Yes, this is a track pant, but when you dress it up with a heel, bootie and scarf, it suddenly takes on a whole new persona. I already own this pant in red, so it is clear that I am a huge fan of this cut and design. I would not dress this track pant down and wear it with a sneaker. I feel that an elevated track pant such as this one is so unexpected, that it should be worn in a slightly dressier setting than a run to the grocery store. I will opt to wear this to dinner rather than cook dinner. We all need a break now and then, don’t we?
