I am excited to once again feature a piece of clothing from one of my newest favorite design team, the ladies of ba&sh. I love the femininity of a long pleated skirt, and this one is perfect in so many ways. I am only five three, so on me this skirt is a maxi. Yet on a taller person, it would be a midi. Either way it’s lovely, and the black band at the top gives the waist definition without having to add a belt. I kept the top light to let the black stand out. On a recent outing on Melrose here in Los Angeles, my friend and I hit all the designer stores for a little fashion-is-art inspiration. It was at the Oscar de la Renta store that I found this fabulous handbag in the most dreamy color. After looking at the high price tag, I put it away. But I couldn’t stop thinking about it and found that I had accrued enough points at Bloomies to cover the cost of the handbag. This is how I get all of my handbags. I do most of my home, lingerie, gifts and clothing shopping at Bloomies. If you shop at the right times, those points really add up.
I love layering my bracelets and these stretch gold beaded ones are all the rage here in LA. You can find them in many boutiques like BOCA in the Palisades, Robin Terman or by Molly Sydney, who made the ones that I am wearing.

What a gorgeous skirt. It’s be the same length on me, and I think it’s perfect.
