That 70’s Vibe featuring Clara Sun Woo

As you know I am a fan of Clara Sun Woo, the fashion brand created by Clara and her daughter Roseann. The clothes are comfortable, affordable and best of all, packable, which makes them wonderful travel companions. When they sent me this two-piece denim-colored outfit, I was thrilled. I loved the criss-cross halter top and the ’70s vibe spoke to me instantly. So what’s a girl to do who grew up watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and idolized both Mary and Rhoda? The headscarf, of course!

I also added a belt to define my waist. If I were about 4 inches taller, I probably would have worn it as is. Even though a belt can cut one at the waist and actually work against a small frame, the addition of this belt in this color, seemed to work well with this outfit. The round wireframes of these sunglasses work in harmony with the ’70s vibe as do the hoop earrings.

My now vintage YSL platform sandals complete the look, similar here
and here, and this Fendi bag came in handy as well!
