I tend to shy away from colored leather since it is must be dry cleaned, the cost of which is prohibitive. But when clothing this beautiful and delicate presents itself at sale time, I vow to never eat or drink in it.
I am also very much a closet purger; I tend to go through my closet bi-annually to purge it of items that have not been worn in over two years, were impulse buys, and clothes that are old looking and just plain tired. However, I have hung onto this silk top by Worth New York, for a number of years, and it came in handy when creating this look.
Even though it is not necessary to always thread a belt through belt loops on a skirt or pants, I felt that I needed to break up the pink.  Consequently, I chose this metal and rope belt, also by Worth New York.
