Gluten Free Vegan Apple Pear Crisp

Apple Filling Ingredients

  • 5 medium sized Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled and sliced into wedges

  • 4 Asian pears, cored, peeled, and sliced into wedges

  • 3 tbsp cinnamon

  • 3/4 cup white sugar


1. Toss the apples and pears with the cinnamon and sugar in a large bowl. 

Crumb Topping Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 1 stick of margarine

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar


1. Toss with fingers until mixture becomes crumbly. 

2. Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch glass baking pan with 1/3 of the crumb topping. Add the filling. Top with the remainder. Dot the top with margarine and bake at 350˚F for 30 minutes. Loosely tent top with foil. Increase temperature to 400˚ and bake for another 20 minutes or until filling starts to bubble.

3. Set on a cooling rack for 10-15 minutes before serving.
