Debi's Lemon Bars


  •  2 cups flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter

Sift sugar and flour together. Cut in butter and use a fork to break down until fine crumbs form. Pat crust into prepared pan 9 x 13in Pyrex. Build up one inch on sides and pat down to make a crust. Bake 20 minutes at 350. While the crust is baking beat together in a bowl:


  •  2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoon Flour
  • 4 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 4 eggs

Pour over baked dough and bake an additional 25 minutes. Sprinkle sifted powdered sugar over top while lemon bars are still warm and cut bars into squares when they have cooled. May be frozen.
